Here's how the Quins players rated in their 20-13 victory over Wasps in Big Game 11.

Mike Brown

The England snub in November has worked wonders for Quins. The full-back is nearing his best. Imperious as ever under the high ball and dangerous with ball in hand. Missed touch with an early penalty but solid thereafter.7

Nathan Earle

Wasn’t given a lot of ball first half but went looking for it in the second and it paid dividends. Powerful with ball in hand but needs to it for 80 minutes and not just the half if he’s to make the step up to elite level. 6

Joe Marchant

A frustrating day for the usually classy centre. Wasn’t given a lot of ball due to the scrappy nature of the game…but like all top players he came alive when he needed to and dotted down to finish off a great score. 6

Francis Saili

The battering ram on Smith’s shoulder. Looked for contact at every opportunity but showed his soft hands with a number of off-loads. Sadly for him, his teammates weren’t on the same wavelength in a scrappy scrappy contest. 7

Cadan Murley

Getting the nod ahead of Gabriel Ibitoye the young winger isn’t putting a foot wrong and doesn’t look like being ousted any time soon. Good under the high ball and deceptively good in defence, he’s not afraid to put his body on the line. 6

Marcus Smith

Won the duel of the tens, which wasn’t hard if you saw Sopoaga’s performance. Settled the nerves with great conversion early on which seemed to ease the young fly-half’s nerves. 7

Danny Care

A quiet game by his standards. Looked to attack at every opportunity but nothing seemed to stick for the scrum-half. That said, he looked the most likely to add some sparkle to a scrappy Twickenham affair and did just that with a sublime grubber to set up Marchant’s try. 6

Joe Marler

His international retirement seems to have invigorated the prop. Looking more mobile than before he put in a number of big hits which set the tone. Needless to say he caused havoc at scrum time and got under the Wasps front-row’s skin. Huge effort in the dying moments to win a penalty on their own five metres. Colossal performance. 8

Dave Ward

Petulant stamp saw him go to the sin-bin in an act that would incense Paul Gustard and the 82 thousand in Twickenham. Luckily for the hooker, a poor Wasps side never punished them. It'll be an nervous wait for the Quins man as officials will look at video evidence of some unsavoury incidents surrounding the stalwart. 4

Kyle Sinckler

Not prominent in the loose as he usually is, but contributed to a huge first half pack effort that seemed to deflate Wasps. Like his colleague Marler, always looking for to cause chaos, physically…..and verbally. 6

Matt Symons & Ben Glynn

The engine room of the side are rarely mentioned but that shouldn’t discredit their effort. Provided Care and Smith with clean ball on a number of occasions and were relentless in defence. Disrupted Wasps’ line-out and dominated the scrum, the pair are making huge impressions in James Horwill’s absence. 6

Alex Dombrandt

The unknown quantity at the beginning of the season has turned into a formidable, undroppable force. Opened the scoring early on and it’s clear he’s loving his rugby at this level, not just that, he’s thriving. Eddie Jones will surely be considering this versatile back-rower in February. World Cup this summer? 8

Jack Clifford

Cut from the same cloth as Chris Robshaw. Never gets a mention in the press or by pundits, but take him out of this side and there’s a glaring breakdown absence. Won a crucial penalty just before the break to edge Quins two scores ahead. Big fan of the open-side. 7

James Chisholm

Big Game captain. Leads by example and does the dirty work in defence. Looked assured at the base of the scrum and relieved pressure with a great carry late in the first half as Wasps looked to have a push on the scrum. Quins looked a little lost after his withdrawal on the hour. 6
