Two men have been taken to hospital and one is in a critical condition following a stabbing in Morden.

The incident happened in Central Road at 8.40pm yesterday.

Officers, London Ambulance Service crews, and London’s Air Ambulance were called to the scene.

The pair were treated at the scene before being taken to a west London hospital for treatment.

One of the victims, a 20-year-old man, remains in a critical but stable condition.

The injuries of the other victim, a 19-year-old man, were assessed as not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to call police on 101 and quote reference 7086/20 OCT.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 20:40hrs on Thursday, 20 October to reports of a stabbing at Central Road, Morden.

“Officers, London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London’s Air Ambulance attended. The scene two males were found suffering stab wounds.

“They were taken by LAS to a west London hospital where victim 1, aged 20, remains in a critical but stable condition.

“The injuries for Victim 2, a 19-year-old man, were not life-threatening.

“There have been no arrests.

“Anyone who witnessed this incident or has information should call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 7086/20 OCT.
