Six people have been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot in the chest in New Malden.
The shooting took place on February 10 and all six people have been charged with attempted murder, attempted robbery and having a firearm with intent to commit and indictable offence.
Amadou Bah, 18, of Caverleigh Way, Worcester Park; Naomi Conteh, 18, of Dorking Close, Worcester Park, and James White, 18, of Russell Road, Mitcham, were all charged on Tuesday, February 14.
Neil Jackson, 20, of Aldrington Road, was charged on Friday, February 17, and Joshua Bowman, 18, of Glebe Court, Mitcham, was charged on Sunday, February 19.
A 17-year-old boy was charged on Tuesday, February 21.
They are due to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, 16 March, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The charges relate to a shooting that took place on Friday, February 10 at Newhouse Close, New Malden.
A 28-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition, however his injuries are no longer life-threatening.
Trident detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command continue to investigate the incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives investigating a shooting in Kingston-Upon-Thames have charged six people.
“All six are charged with attempted murder, attempted robbery and having a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
“[A] Amadou Bah, 18 (13.10.04), of Caverleigh Way, Worcester Park, [B] Naomi Conteh 18 (02.09.04), of Dorking Close, Worcester Park, and [C] James White, 18 (15.10.04), of Russell Road, Mitcham, were charged on Tuesday, 14 February.
“[D] Neil Jackson, 20 (15.10.02), of Aldrington Road, SW16, was charged on Friday, 17 February, and [E] Joshua Bowman, 18 (19.09.04), of Glebe Court, Mitcham, was charged on Sunday, 19 February. A 17-year-old boy [E] was charged on Tuesday, 21 February.
